9/29/01--Do you want a S. Austin Mayor Candidate forum?
Hey Gang,
This just in from BCNA:

Dear NA Presidents,

What are your thoughts about having a South Austin Candidate Forum for the upcoming mayoral elections?

I know there will be a South West forum organized by Nan Clayton. However, several people have suggested that we should hold our own as in previous years,  to make sure our issues are heard.

Please let me know:

1) Should we have have a joint forum?
2) If so

    a) shall we have the same format used before, (i.e. 1-2 questions that every candidate needs to answer followed by general Q & A) or should there be a different format?
    b) should it be at Becker or does someone have other preferences?
    c) what are the two most important issues regarding South Austin that you would like to have addressed?
    d) what date works best for your group (preferably in the second or third week of October)?

If a majority of you would like to have a forum, I will be happy to make the arrangements.

Please respond soon as possible. I meant to mail this out two weeks ago, but have been sick and could not muster the energy.

On behalf of BCNA
neighborly yours,

Ingrid Weigand

Let me know your thoughts right away and I get back with Ingrid and let her know the interest level here in SLNA land.

Thanks
Bryan
